Late Payroll This Week

Our server was hit by lightning and we have been unable to process payroll this week as of yet.  Nexxtep is currently working on the problem (and has been since yesterday) and has not finished downloading our database and other programs onto the new server.  We are hoping that it will be finished sometime tomorrow. However, that being said, we cannot process payroll until this is done.

If it is done tomorrow in enough time for April to finish entering time into the system in order to download it to the bank, then everyone will be paid on Friday.

At this time, we cannot access anything in our database at all.  Therefore, we cannot contact you ourselves.

Nexxtep assures us that they are working very hard to get this situation rectified.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

2013 W2s

The W-2s have been processed and mailed. Those employees who had medical deductions should be receiving a reissued W-2,in which Box 12 will include the amount that you paid for medical insurance during 2013. Please keep in mind that the taxable information on the reissued W-2 is exactly the same.

The reporting in Box 12, using Code DD, of the cost of employer-sponsored health coverage is for your information only. The amount reported with Code DD is not taxable. This amount represents the total of the employee and employer contributions to your medical plan. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) requires that employers disclose the aggregate value of employer-sponsored health coverage to each employee on form W-2, Box 12DD. Excluded from the reporting requirements are long term care, vision and dental plans.
